* For Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (HKIS), most of its members will be admitted through the completion of the Assessment of Professional Competence Scheme (APC). A prospective Probationer has to obtain a recognised academic qualification, and commence suitable training and complete the relevant divisional APC, before being considered for admission to HKIS.
